does anyone know why when I'm playing BC2 my computer is shutting off. I purchased a new vid card and it was running great but now my computer shuts down randomly somtimes just after only 5 minutes of playing. this is the only time it does this is when Im playing this game.    |

My comp does that when my video card overheats.
I have a nVidia 8800GTS. When I forget to crank up the fan using the nVidia control panel, my computer shuts off when I play BC2 or MW2.
Try making sure your video card has good ventilation.

Almost definitely an overheating problem. Download a utility that monitors your core temp and you might want to look into getting additional case fans.
